This is a picture of a white gum tree over a small water hole. This lovely spot is located just west of Alice Springs in the Macdonnell Ranges. This was where we camped on our first outback bush trip (1993). Click on the image to get a better view (152K).

This is a picture of our 1993 Toyota Hilux 4 wheel drive -- not sold in the US.

Most people in the US have never seen this vehicle. The truck is powered by a 2.8L 4 cylinder diesel engine.
