CLUB RULES

Students are to bow as they enter and leave the hall.

Jewelry will be removed before training except for plain wedding bands.

No eating or chewing gum permitted in the training hall.

Profanity (swearing), loss of temper, horseplay, loud laughing and talking, or any display of lack of self discipline will not be tolerated.

Finger and toe nails will be trimmed as short as possible.

Unless there is a genuine medical reason, all students are to participate in all aspects of training, this includes the warm-up run.

Directions from black belts or other appointed instructors will be carried out promptly and without question.

Only black belts are to have access to the first aid kit.

New members are not required to wear a uniform for the first month of their participation. Yellow belts and above are to ware a Martial Arts or plain white T-shirt. Only black belts are permitted to wear black T-shirts. Gi's are to be clean and white.

Personal cleanliness and hygiene is important for a healthy training environment.

Do not walk or stand between the pylons on either side of the heavy bag.

Do not inquire concerning promotion to a higher grade. When the instructor decides that you, as an individual, are ready for promotion, you will be invited to test. The instructor will discuss your progress with you during the training sessions.

Students are required to give their best effort at all times.

Do not touch any property which is not yours. This includes drink bottles, personal training equipment, etc.

Tae Kwon Do self defence techniques are not to be applied out of the dojang unless circumstances involving your safety, or safety of others, are overriding.

Training fees are paid on the honor system. This is a non-profit club, there is no other source of income. Fees are used strictly for hall rental, the purchase of equipment, and additional training seminars. Instructors teach on a strictly volunteer basis.

Any student who does not comply with these rules and is warned three times by an instructor will be suspended from training for two weeks.

Any student who has been suspended three times in a year will be expelled from the club permanently.
